COVID-19 Policy

COVID-19 Safety Standards

The COVID-19 pandemic has created an ever-changing environment at Coleman Jet, and we are taking all necessary precautions to mitigate the spread of the virus. It is paramount that we are keeping our charter customers, and our employees safe. Below are the precautions we are taking today.

PASSENGER SCREENING

Our Charter and Flight Operations Team evaluate all flight details, request information about health history in relation to COVID-19 and ask for additional information concerning previous travel plans. Upon arrival all passengers will be subjected to a non-invasive infrared temperature scan. Passenger temperature readings above 100.4 degrees will not be allowed to board the airplane.

Coleman Jet request that everyone wear a mask during the before boarding temperature screening and identification check being conducted by a crewmember. Please leave your mask in place until after boarding the aircraft and seated. If you are boarding at our facility, it is mandatory that a mask, be worn inside the facility by order of the Lake County Health Department. Children under the age of 2 are exempt from the mask policy.

FACE COVERINGS

The CDC recommends the use of face coverings to help prevent individuals who lack symptoms from spreading the virus to others. Coleman Jet crewmembers and employees wear face coverings while performing duties in the presence of a Charter customer, which include, but are not limited to, greetings, preboarding screenings, safety briefings, and cabin service. Facial coverings must also be used by crewmembers and employees when required by local ordinances or businesses, such as FBOs. Because of limited supplies of facial coverings across the country, Owners and guests who prefer to wear them should bring their own.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

Amid this global pandemic, we are leveraging our vast infrastructure to implement a logistical strategy that keeps our crewmembers healthy and meets the new realities of this very challenging time.

  • To curtail the risk of exposure, the avoidance of handshakes between our crew, Owners, passengers, and any supplier is recommended
  • Additionally, all crew travel is closely monitored; those exposed in any manner are prohibited from entering Coleman Jet facilities and aircraft for 14 days and must be cleared by a medical professional
  • During stay-at-home orders, a work-from-home program was established for many of our office employees. For those who need to report to the office to complete their duties, we have taken extra steps to mitigate risks with additional disinfecting methods and increased spatial distance. Mask are worn in all common areas by Coleman Jet employees.
  • We encourage all crewmembers and employees to remove themselves from duty to protect those around them. We continue to reinforce that they are fully supported if they require quarantine and/or medical attention due to a COVID-19 diagnosis

AIRCRAFT CLEANING

Coleman Jet’s aircraft are going through a multi-tiered cleaning and disinfecting program in accordance with the guidelines of the CDC and the NBAA. This helps us ensure a clean and comfortable cabin for each flight.

DAILY CLEANING & DISINFECTING

For post-flight and pre-flight cleanings, our crewmembers use disinfectant-grade products that are EPA-approved and effective at killing Coronavirus.
