Coleman Jet, the aircraft management and private jet charter division of B. Coleman Aviation, has promoted Ed Fares, Brian McClintic and Sachin Pithadia to leadership roles within the company’s flight operations team. This strategic move will streamline processes within the department and throughout the company as a whole.
“Having the ability to fill these key positions with experienced aviation professionals that are already on staff is a true testament to our foundation,” said John Girzadas, President of B. Coleman Aviation. “These three individuals share in the vision to grow the company, yet not losing site of our commitment to excellence in customer service. They will make a great team!”
Ed Fares, hired in February as Coleman Jet’s Chief Pilot and Captain of the Gulfstream IV, has accepted the position as Director of Operations. This position was previously held by Jim Sheely, who has since retired. Mr. Fares has over 20 years of aviation experience, primarily in the business aviation industry. He started a charter company based in Oklahoma where he served as the Director of Operations. He has also held the position of Chief Pilot for a large Part 135 operator.
Brian McClintic has accepted the position of Chief Pilot and has over 27 years of experience in Part 91 and Part 135 operations. He previously served in the roles of Director of Operations and Chief Pilot for a Part 135 operator and as Chief Pilot for a Part 91 operation. He has extensive international experience in the Middle East, Asia and Europe plus business experience from owning his award winning micro-brewery.
Sachin Pithadia has accepted the position of Assistant Chief Pilot. He served as Coleman Jet’s Gulfstream IV SIC and was promoted to PIC just a few months later. Mr. Pithadia has over 10 years of Part 135 operating experience. He graduated from Purdue University’s Aviation program and was a flight instructor for four years.
Ed, Brian and Sachin share in the excitement to be part of a thriving flight operation that they can mold into a successful international presence. Their enjoyment of working with clients to create solutions to specific needs is what brings this team together. “We have several very exciting opportunities in the works that will accelerate our desired positioning within the business aviation market,” stated Ed Fares.
